Nonresonant central exclusive production of charged hadron pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13~\mathrm{TeV}$

The central exclusive production of charged hadron pairs in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is examined, based on data collected in a special high-$\beta^*$ run of the LHC. Events are selected by requiring both scattered protons detected in the TOTEM Roman pots, exactly two oppositely charged identified particles in the CMS silicon tracker, and the energy-momentum balance of these four particles.

Proton reconstruction with the CMS Precision Proton Spectrometer in Run 2

A search for new physics in central exclusive production using the missing mass technique with the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer

A generic search is presented for associated production of a Z boson or a photon with an additional unspecified massive particle X in proton-tagged events from pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $13 TeV, recorded in 2017 by the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer.
