LHCb Computing Resources: 2026 requests / Bozzi, Concezio (Universita e INFN, Ferrara (IT)) ; Anderlini, Lucio (Universita e INFN, Firenze (IT)) ; Blanc, Fred (EPFL - Ecole Polytechnique Federale Lausanne (CH)) ; Couturier, Ben (CERN) ; van Eldik, Jan (CERN) ; Marin Benito, Carla (University of Barcelona (ES)) ; Perazzini, Stefano (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) ; Robbe, Patrick (Université Paris-Saclay (FR)) ; Skidmore, Nicole (University of Warwick (GB)) ; Stahl, Sascha (CERN) et al.
This document presents an estimate of the offline computing resources needed by LHCb in the 2026 WLCG year. The computing requests are based on the Computing Model Technical Design Report for the LHCb Upgrade, adjusted to the current values of its main parameters, to the currently known LHC running schedule, to the current usage of computing resources, and to the expected activities to be performed by the LHCb experiment..

Time alignment of the front end electronics of the LHCb SciFi / Xu, Zehua (CERN) ; Wang, Chishuai (Heidelberg University (DE))
LHCb is the experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN designed for performing studies of CP-symmetry violation and rare decays of B-hadrons. During the Upgrade I of LHCb, a new tracking detector based on the scintillating fibres (SciFi) has been installed downstream of the magnet [...]

Opportunities for heavy-ion and fixed-target physics with LHCb Upgrade II /LHCb Collaboration
Owing to its forward acceptance, which allows to probe a kinematic region inaccessible to the other LHC experiments, and its unique ability to study fixed-target collisions by injecting gas into the LHC beam pipe, the LHCb experiment has developed a complete heavy-ion physics programme during the LHC Run 2 (2015– 2018) and is further expanding it with Run 3 (2022–2026) data. With its foreseen Upgrade II, expected to begin operating in the LHC Run 5, increased precision, rarer probes and an even broader programme are within reach. [...]
